I'm always attracted to big, bold shapes and patterns. I'll be experimenting with some new textiles and interesting colour combinations for my show in June.

Well after a hellish two year renovation experience I'm now in my new studio!

I painted this landscape sketch as a warm-up for some larger paintings I'm doing. I've never actually painted a landscape before and I've never painted from a photo. When I paint my florals I work from life, not literally though, I change things around and sometimes paint full bouquets from just two or three flowers.

My next show is in June. I will post as I finish.
